Yes — opened products are returnable within the 30-day window. This is the policy that matters most because most “didn’t work” situations involve a partially-used box or jar.

What counts as “opened”

  • Powder boxes — outer plastic wrap removed, lid opened, even if some sachets have been used.
  • Soft chew jars — foil seal removed, lid opened, even if you’ve given several chews already.

We accept all of the above. You don’t need to have the remaining product be a specific percentage of the original — partially used is fine.

What we need back

The remaining product in its original packaging. We don’t need:

  • The outer shipping box (recycle it).
  • The original lot/batch labels intact (they’re sometimes scuffed by use).
  • The receipt or any paperwork (the email confirmation is all we use).

What we do with returned product

Returned opened product is not resold. It’s tested for any quality flags (the rare cases where a complaint reflects a manufacturing issue we want to investigate) and otherwise disposed of according to FDA-registered facility protocols. So returning opened product helps us — it gives us a real sample to test if something went wrong.

Common reasons for opened returns

  • Pet refused the food with the supplement mixed in. See My pet won’t eat the supplement before returning — most refusal cases have a quick fix. But if you’ve tried and it’s not working, return without hesitation.
  • No visible results after 4–6 weeks of consistent daily use. We’d rather refund a fair trial than fight a frustrated customer.
  • Pet had an adverse reaction — vomiting that didn’t resolve in 48 hours, diarrhea past day 5, unusual lethargy. Stop use immediately, return for refund.
  • Wrong product for your pet — bought hairball powder, realized your cat needs muscle support; bought muscle chews, realized you wanted tear-stain. We’ll refund or exchange.

What about returning multiple opened products?

If you bought 2–3 products as a starter set and want to return all of them, that’s fine. Mention all the products in the initial email.

If you’re returning more than 3 products in a 60-day window, we may ask a few questions to make sure we understand what’s not working — usually there’s something we can help with before processing additional returns.
