What is your return policy?

Petterm has a straightforward 30-day return policy. We don’t gate it on whether the package is opened or whether your pet ate the product.
The basics
- 30 days from delivery. The clock starts when the carrier marks the order as delivered.
- Any reason. You don’t have to justify the return — “my pet didn’t take to it” is enough.
- Opened or unopened. We accept both. See Can I return an opened product? for details.
- Free return shipping when the issue is on our end (damaged, wrong item, defective). For other reasons, we cover return shipping for the first return per customer; subsequent returns may use a deducted return label.
Why we make this easy
Supplements only work when your pet takes them consistently. If your pet won’t eat the product, or if you’re not seeing results after a fair trial, you shouldn’t be stuck paying for it. We’d rather refund and have a clean ending than argue about whether the product “should” have worked.
If we keep getting returns on a specific product, that tells us something we need to know — about the formula, the packaging, or how we’re describing it. So returns aren’t a loss to us; they’re information.
What’s not covered
- Returns past 30 days — we typically can’t accept these. If you have a special circumstance (medical reason for a delayed return, etc.), email us and we’ll consider it.
- Products purchased through third-party retailers — return through the retailer where you bought it. Amazon returns go through Amazon; we can’t process Amazon-purchased returns directly.
- Bundle deals or “free gift” items — if you return the bundle, the free gift either comes back with it or has its retail value deducted from the refund.

For products you’ve genuinely tried for a fair trial period (typically 4 weeks for our supplements) and haven’t seen results, we’ll refund even past the 30-day window. Just email us and explain — we want pets to be helped, and a frustrated customer isn’t a win for anyone.
