Hairball reduction is one of the faster-acting outcomes for our supplements. Most cat parents see real change within 2–4 weeks.

Week 1

Your cat’s gut microbiome is adjusting. You may see slightly softer or more frequent stool. This isn’t the hairball benefit yet — it’s the formula taking hold.

Week 2–3 — first visible change

By the end of week 2, most cats produce measurably fewer hairballs. The most common report:

  • A cat that brought up 1–2 hairballs per week now brings up zero or one in the same window.
  • Less coughing, gulping, or “trying to throw up” without anything coming out.

Week 4–6 — full results

By week 4, the daily hair-through-digestion mechanism is fully established. Cats that used to hairball multiple times a week often go to weekly or every-other-week — and many stop entirely while continuing the supplement.

What to track

The easiest metric is hairballs per week. Keep a quick mental count for the 2 weeks before you start, then compare it to weeks 3–4 on the supplement. A 50%+ reduction is the typical baseline result.

If you brush your cat regularly, you might also notice less hair coming up at the brush — because more of it is moving through the digestive tract instead of being swallowed and regurgitated.

What if nothing changes?

If you’re at week 6 with no change at all, two things to check:

  1. Daily consistency. Even 2–3 missed days a week meaningfully slows progress.
  2. Dose accuracy. A 12-pound cat needs a full sachet, not half.

If both check out, email us — we’ll help troubleshoot or arrange a refund.
